Studio in Art Supply List

Below you will find the list of supplies that each student is asked to obtain. A large majority of the art supplies needed for the year will be provided for them through the school on loan during class.  However, if the loaned supplies are lost or damaged, it will be your responsibility to replace them.

Communication is key, if you have any difficulty obtaining these materials for any reason feel free to contact your teacher prior to the due date to make other arrangements without a penalty to your grade.  Only excuses received after the due date will result in a point reduction.

Roll of Waxed Paper (1)
Roll of scotch tape (1)
Approximately 4 ft of string or ribbon:  (Any kind ie. bakers string, shoe laces, yarn, twine, etc)
Sharpie ultra fine marker – black (1)
Sharpie fine marker – black (1)
3 ring binder with rigid cover or folder – to be used as notebook (1)
1 Pencil case  (preferably with 3holes to fit in binder)
Drawing Pencils – HB, 2B, 4B, 6B / (1 of each)
2  glue sticks (recommend UHU brand, others are okay)
All supplies should be marked clearly with the student’s name.

These supplies are generally available in most stores that sell stationery items.
Drawing pencils may be purchased at Pearl Paint, Michaels, AC Moore or Utrecht Art Supply.
While the total cost of supplies should be approximately $12.00 you are welcomed and encouraged to recycle used materials you may already own or come up with creative alternatives for stationary items (pencil cases, binders ,etc.) as needed.
